Being a woman with Christian values, I am looking for that giant of a gentleman who has Christian values as well. Having been widowed now for a little over 2 1/2 years, after being married for 43 years, I find there is a void in my life which needs to be filled. I am tired of living without affection.I have a good sense of humor and can carry on an intelligent conversation and looking for a man who can do the same. As a woman I am comfortable in a dress and heels as well as blue jeans and tennis shoes. Affection is one of the things I miss greatly. I would like to find that special someone who looks at me with love and respect in his eyes, and I can return that look of love. Since becoming a widow, I become very active, especially in my volunteer activities.. Love to travel, but it would be more fun with a partner. My heart aches to see more of the United States as well as Europe. I am honest, compassionate, and tend to show my emotions quite readily, trustworthy, easy going, and easy to get to know. I am a smoker and was unsuccessful at quitting. But, I will try again soon. I do not drink except occasionally socially. Enjoy kissing and being kissed as well as being held and holding hands with my partner. Many things which I enjoy are sunrises and sunsets, ocean waves lapping on the beach, puppies and kittens, freely given smiles and laughter, a glowing fireplace with the sounds of crackling wood, gazing at that same fire with a hope of finding someone to share in the fun of building a lasting relationship. I am looking for someone who is just as tall as me, 6', or taller, close to my age, who does not have a drinking problem, and who has gentlemanly old-fashioned ideas and qualities about the way he treats a woman. This man must have the qualities of honesty, faithfulness, and value loyalty.
I am looking for a long term relationship, that perhaps may lead to marriage, not a one night stand. If you are looking for a one night stand, then I am not your gal - move on!

To find that special gentleman to help me write the next chapter in my Book of Life, someone who will look at me with love in their eyes and I can return that look of love. To find someone who is honest, considerate, trustworthy, compassionate, and has a lot of love to give in order to develop a lasting relationship that might eventually lead to marriage. I look for humor - someone who can laugh at themselves. I would like someone who is not afraid to be affectionate and is outgoing, who enjoys holding hand with the woman he is with or not afraid to give a little peck in public.
