I guess I should start by saying why I'm here, and why I am not. I am looking to meet someone that I have a connection with and see where things go. I would like to have a relationship. I am NOT here seeking a one night stand or anything of the sort, so if that's all you're after kindly move along and don't waste my time and yours.

I am a hopeless romantic. I am generally a little shy until I get to know you. I'm also a very straight forward, honest and open person and I would like to meet someone who is the same way. I'm tired of games, say what you mean and mean what you say.I believe it's important to have a friendship as well as chemistry with someone for things to work. I also believe you need to be able to communicate with each other, that means talking about things not just avoid them or fight about them.

I am very versatile. I can go from camping, to a night at the opera,to a metal concert, to a quiet night at home reading or watching a movie.

I believe wisdom comes not only with age, but also with experience. Age is just a number, it's life's experiences that make us who we are. I've been through a lot in my years on this Earth and life has taught me many things such as never take anything for granted, everything happens for a reason, and to be true to yourself. You should never sacrifice who you are, or what you believe in for anyone. Anyone who is truly important will love you for who you are and they will make an effort to be in your life.


I love to create, it's a form of expression for me. Which is why I do freelance photography & write short stories & poetry among other things. In fact I recently finished my first novel. :) I also run a paranormal research team which is a TAPS family member. I love animals! All my pets are rescues either from a shelter or the street, and I have done a lot of volunteer work. I even went to school to be a vet assistant. Currently I'm trying to get started with that, even if it's just as a receptionist for now. I just really want to work with animals. :)

It doesn't take a lot to make me happy really. I'm content to just stay home, have dinner and watch a movie. Now and then of course I do like to go out and do things. I'm not really a bar person though. I drink rarely and I'm actually allergic to smoke so I can't be around that environment long.
