I'm a well educated professional that's transitioning into doing the work of my heart. I'm a very positive kind of guy; the kind that can restore your faith in people. My favorite things include cycling, board games, camping, hiking and massage (both giving and getting!). I love animals and children. I was a world class athlete in my younger days, and competed in national chamionships in 4 different sports. The fitness mindset and regimen are still a big part of who I am. Not many in my age group can keep up with me.

I have a 12 yr old son who lives with me half of the time and is the light of my life. We spend a lot of time together, and have the kind of relationship that I never had with my father.

You should know that I'll always choose substance over style. I believe that life is about making joy and sharing it. I'm a great listener. I'm told that my great gift is helping people feel good about themselves.

The most important qualities that I like in you are intelligence, kindness, positive attitude, a healthy body and a sense of humor. You should be happy and at peace with yourself, a bringer of joy to others, and someone that sees intimacy as an expression of joyful spirituality. A sense of adventure and a willingness to 'take the leap of faith' will go a long way as well. Beyond that I don't believe in listing what "I want" in a partner. I don't have an "ideal" partner.
